BTEC (Pearson) don't have a Criminology course. Do you mean WJEC? A large number of Universities dont accept it as it's not rigorous enough. Your best bet is to look at the websites of Universities you are interested in and check their full entry requirements..

It isnt a BTEC, its a 'Diploma' from the Welsh Exam Board.
You need to check with each Uni - and give them the correct title :
WJEC Level 3 Applied Diploma in Criminology.
