Yr13 girl likes yr12 boy

So I'm in yr13 and I kinda like this guy in year 12. I think he likes me too, we spoke very briefly a few days ago and we are always stealing glances at each other. The issue is that I'm worried people are going to think it's weird!! I dont wanna be viewed as some kind of predator even tho it's 1 year and the people at my sixth form are so judge what do I do???

what is the age difference???

this happened to someone i knew and they ended up losing feelings lol, but the age gap was fine because the y12 turned 17 before the y13 turned 18, which people tend to see as fine especially if you're like at the same college. but realistically, are your parents the same age? are your friends parent's the same age? i would be very surprised. and i know that's different obviously, but don't let it get in the way of genuine feelings BUT ONLY if the age gap is max a year/like 400 days in my opinion
