going to an all girls school + no interaction with any boys

okay i can’t lie, idk why i’m writing this but lets just see how this goes:

so after primary i went to an all girls secondary school. i’m in year 11 now but, boy, when i tell you i haven’t had a proper interaction with a boy since year 6…

i know that some people who go to all girls school still know some boys from like other outside-of-school things but i dont really do anything outside of school.

i didn’t really think anything of it until when i did work experience and i realised i couldn’t even talk to the boys there because perhaps i didn’t know how to????

and its also like im 16 and the last time i properly spoke to a boy was when i was 11

and nextyear i might start a new school with boys and its like how am i going to talk to them? because im kind of shy towards other people not to mention a boy… 😳

and i know some of you guys might be like ‘just talk..?’, but i have had no proper interaction with a boy for 5 years so its a bit new to me and i don’t want to be labelled as an unwelcoming person next year because i’d love to talk to the boys in my year and see what they’re all about and maybe be friends with some but i feel like i physically cant.

not sure if this is a rant or whatever but thanks for reading this lol

Just treat the boys as if they were anyone else regardless of their gender. Also try talking to boys online like on Instagram or something too

The boys will be as nervous of you as you may be of them. Just chill and think of them as girls with a "thing" lol.

I go to an all girls school and I don't struggle. Just remember most boys are far more scared of you than you are of them
