COMPOS vs Oxford Uni admissions

I see roughly 4500 candidates applied for 400 COMPOS seats. Is there going to be a similar ratio for the universities undergraduate physics degree programmes? How many seats are there and what does the potential application rate look like?

Comparing to COMPOS is definitely not a good idea; COMPOS entrance looks very different; anyone can apply (no predicted grade requirements, 5 choices) and a significant number go on to do CS/Eng/Maths and also not even applying to Oxford. It is also practically limited to state school students.
tl;dr plz dont compare ox phys to compos

That makes sense now, thank you. I’m not sure why I was initially viewing it exclusively from the perspective of potential Oxford physics applicants.
