Edinburgh: course change

hi, I am considering to do German and Classics at Edinburgh. So the Language department will be where I belong and where support will be. I was just thinking if I got tired at the end of year 1/2 of German and wish to switch to full time Classics (eg Classics / Classical Studies etc) - is this possible? Or can you only drop Classics and continue German as that’s where you belong? Thanks

Probably worth contacting the uni directly to find out. My understanding is in the subhonours years you have a certain degree of freedom to switch things around - I know of someone who went there and I think originally started doing Japanese and Spanish but also continued French in the subhonours years and swapped to Japanese and French :smile:
