I got 7 in maths 6 in chemistry 5 in physics 5 in history 4 in english lit 3 biology 3 in drama 3 in eng lang . in my gcse, i do alevel maths psychology and chemistry and i want to study medicine , i thought to resit but i was in a medical conference and they said it will only make my application more disadvantaged, that medical schools don't accept gcse, and i don't know what to do know

I think you need at least 6 in eng language, many universities dont consider GCSE's for interview invites but they do have a minimum requirement.

However, during a medic conference today, I have realised that resitting gcse language and the core sciences like chem physics and bio might disadvantage my application A LOT, they said i will only be left with 2 medical schools will accept gcse resit

In that case better to think of studying something else, not to discourage you but medicine is very competitive and you have applicants with stellar GCSE's a-levels and ucat as your competition.
