KCL general engineering personal statement

Hi,
I'm an aspiring chemical engineering trying to apply to unis in london (for convenience) and kcl had always been a thought of mine but they only offer general engineering or biomed/ electronics which i dont have an interest in. I was wondering if my personal statement, which is tailored for chem eng, is enough to apply for kcl general engineering or would i have to tailor it to fit the course?

Hey, I don’t know if you will see this or already applied. But I also applied to KCL general engineering and I applied to mechanical at other unis. Since I wanted to apply to different engineering courses - although I know that chem eng is a little different- I would say maybe just linking to one general engineering principle (for example fluid dynamics would be good). But I’m sure the personal statement of chem eng would be just fine.
Also just saying engineering in the personal statement rather than chem eng at the start would be good. Make sure the intro is more general and then link to check eng maybe through experiences so it isn’t just mainly chem eng!
