Physics at Imperial

Heyyy,
I’m planning to apply to Imperial for Physics. However, I have not sat the ESAT yet but I will be sitting it in January. Will I be able to send off my UCAS application before sitting the ESAT? Will I even be considered if my application is looked at before sitting the admissions test?

I think your application will be looked at once you've sat the admissions assessment and they have your score (but I'm not Imperial so I don't know for sure)

Also as far as I know, you can submit your application before you sit the ESAT. You don't submit the scores yourself- they're sent to your university automatically. (The university may even get access to your score before you do).

You can submit beforehand. Those applying to Oxford with October deadline can sit the ESAT in Jan (if they choose to, as the Oxford PAT is in October), and obviously have to submit before. It will be considered after the Jan ESAT

ESAT results OK here, hope same for you... do we think Imperial will come back with a decision on this batch of applicants before Christmas? Really hope so.
