B.Sc. Finance

Hi, I want to study Finance at Durham. I am predicted A* A*A but I know from a recent open day how competitive it is to get a place on the course. I am looking for any tips/advice from current students on how to make my personal statement stand out as Durham is where I really want to go.

I haven’t been to an open day and have an offer, could you please explain what made it competitive?

Durham is a top tier uni (under Oxbridge, LSE, ICL, UCL) in the UK so it’ll definitely be competitive especially for the more rigorous oversubscribed courses.

I don’t think it’s as competitive I applied and got an offer within a few days. I was only predicted AAB
