Law and Politics LLB Edinburgh University

Hi!

My dream has always been to study law at University. However, my passion and interest lies within Politics.

Edinburghs Law and Politics joint honours degree looks like a dream to me but I do understand how intense it is.

I was wondering if anyone had any information on how competitive it is to get into a joint honours degree and whether my odds are better just apply for the Law LLB stand alone (for reference I have 5As at Higher, predicted 3As this year at advanced higher, strong personal statement, non-contextual).

Also is there anyone doing the degree that can tell me what it’s like and how intense it is? I would love to hear first hand what this course is like.
