Unpopular opinion : First start by loving the subjects , and create a positive mindset start seeing the beauty in their complexity and apply them everywhere, eg bernoulis effect when a door closes etc.

1.

Study topic wise and understand the concepts rather than studying for exam, Start with easier topics and advance to the more complex concepts. Refuse to advance to a new topic when you've not understood what you were currently studying.

2.

Repeat Number 1

3.

Get good books, Get a tutor, Do tests on your own. Cool down with a hobby.
A bad attitude is 10times more stronger than a good attitude, but a good attitude will take you 10times further than a bad attitude.

Thanks for the advices
I'm a first year physics student, I find that being engaged with the material being studied is very important, watch videos, read articles, read books, do past papers, study the textbook, think about the subject during walks/errands/free time.

It's all about immersion into the subject. Study to understand, not to score. If you want to be a physicist. It might alleviate the pressure of performance.
