i do the same exam board as you, i went into the exam thinking and knowing unseen poetry is my worst part and i am not very good at unseen poetry and stuff but to my shock in my gcse thats the part i got the most marks in any english test i have ever done i got 34/40, what i did was just revise a lot of poetry techniques and as for wjec edquas we have to learn like 20 poems it really helps if you know a lot of techniques as they are bound to be in every poem, what i did in the exam was i always try and spot as many techniques as i could in the poem and each technique always did like the same thing like a volta change in tone suddenly and it always has like the same effect, and then its just about revising picking out quotes and explaining what it shows trying to show by thinking under the quote what the inferred meaning of the quote is as there is no right or wrong in poetry as many people view it in different ways. And i always learned a lot of structural techniques and i would always dedicate 1 paragraph at the end just picking out all the structural techniques and briefly explaining what they did. For two unseen poetry bit it is always better to look at the similarities and in the second part of the unseen poetry section when you comparing the peoms you want to talk in more depth about the second poem as you have already just show the examiner your understanding on the first poem, and when doing the paragraphs don't do what most people do which is compare both poems by talking about it in the same paragraph so for example, the poem 1 has a mystery in the quote"", also in poem 2 there is a mystery in the quote"", don't do this talk separately about the poems in paragraphs that only talk about 1 poem at a time ,
i hope this helps.

nws plus i am not very good with analysis, with poems your analysis can't really be wrong you just kind think outside the box, like i remember a poem i was analysis like and there was quote like " you could see his flesh underneath his skin glowing red" it shows how he has lost the skin and his like protective layer on top and how he is vulnerable now and so needs protection form his dad and things.
anything else feel free to ask !🙂
