Physics at Bristol, Bath or Exeter

I am finding it difficult to decide which one of these universities I should put as my first choice to study undergrad physics, I have visited all three and I'm happy with the facilities at each.

People who have been to or currently attend any of these universities for physics, why did you choose that uni?

I went to Bristol and loved the city as a student. The course was pretty intense but I think it is well-regarded by employers.

Do you need to make a first choice now? I don’t think it matters what order they are on your UCAS application. You only need to choose your first choice once you have all your offers in. Or have I misunderstood the question?

Why don't you apply to all of them? You can receive offers from any and choose much later on which one to accept.

Hey there,

Its great to hear you're planning to go into physics - great degree choice 👍️ - and also great to hear you are considering Bah as one of your options. I did not study physics here and so cannot speak for the subject, but I really, genuinely enjoyed my time at Bath when I studied psychology here. The campus is small with a cosy, village feel, the city is full of gorgeous georgian architecture and is small, safe and has a lot to do for its size. There are green parks, a few good night clubs, pubs, shopping, markets, street food, and if you wanted something bigger Bristol's only 30 mins away by bus.

The physics course itself is highly ranking, and also has the option for a year in industry, which will add its weight in gold to your CV when you graduate - plus doing a placement is a lot of fun and you get to earn some money and experience something different for a year.

Its about choosing the right one for you. Which uni when you visited could you really see yourself at home at? which felt right? Which course is best suited to your needs? If you have confident answers to those questions then you will make the right choice for you.

Huge best of luck, hope this helped a bit!
