Journal as a med applicant + retake student #medicine #6thform #Alevels

For background I am a med applicant and also retaking my A levels I got BCC.

B in Biology

C in Chemistry

C in French

I am now taking resitting Biology, Chemistry and Digital media. I am now predicted 2A* and A and I am determined to achieve these grades.

I hope this journal can inspire current 6th form students and resit applicant like myself to achieve our dreams.
I aim to post every day my daily to do list.

I wondered if you would please give a little bit more background info (what were you predicted grades last year? Did you apply to med last year and if so, did you get any interviews/offers? Did you improve your UCAT score this year and if so how? What are you planning to do differently this year to improve your A level grades? Why did you decide to change French for digital media?) Obviously there’s no pressure to answer these if they feel too intrusive - it would just be interesting to see a fuller picture of someones experience.

Hey! I'm a med applicant and retake student too! I got BB in bio and chem looking to push for A*A* this time round. How are you finding things, and where did you end up applying if you don't mind sharing x

Congrats on improving your UCAT by 300 points! Did you do anything different to make that happen? Good luck with your retakes and med application this year 🤞

I'm applying to Aston too!
Aston, KMMS, HYMS and ARU

I also feel slightly better, but anxious since I haven't had any interview experience, I got pre-interview rejections from all my unis last year ☹️
