kingston university - sciences

I'm looking to study pharmacology - does anyone know what kingston is like for this course, or sciences in general? am a home student, but I don't know much about it at all. Any advice is appreciated, thanks.
Hey @fizzywizzybizzy

While I don't study sciences at Kingston, here is the link for the pharmacology course at Kingston if you needed any more information: https://www.kingston.ac.uk/undergraduate/courses/pharmacology/

I would definitely reccommend joining us at one of our open days. These are great to gauge the location of the campus, accommodation, and the course itself- getting to talk to students on that specific course and others, and lecturers too. Seeing facilities are also great to make your deciding decision as it did with me.

I hope this helped and let me know if you have any other questions

Kingston is one of the largest pharmacology courses in the country - it’s up to you if you think you do better in large classes (their modules are generally 50-325 students according to their website) or smaller groups. When I studied pharmacology my course had 18 students on it and I really liked that but some people prefer a bit more anonymity!
It’s not the best in terms of NSS scores but certainly doesn’t seem bad and it has some good lecturers on it.
Definitely go and visit there, it’s the best way to get a feel for if it’s the best place for you
