Prioritise your course - the most important factor in your decision should be the course content/modules, whether you think you will enjoy it and if it is suited to what you want to learn. Also consider that uni's reputation and teaching quality for your chosen subject.

Try to look beyond the RG label! Whilst there are a lot of very good unis in the RG, there are also plenty of good ones not in the group, such as Lancaster, Loughborough. and Bath. Bath is a gorgeous little campus uni a very short walk from a beautiful georgian city, has an excellent academic reputation and one of the best industrial placement schemes in the country, so I'd encourage you to explore all your options!
