LSE Philosophy/PPE Content

Hi, I'm a domestic applicant for LSE's 4-year PPE degree. I'm wondering if LAE is strict on the philosophical outlook of a personal statement.

My philosophical sections were primarily concerned with Nietzsche and political philosophy (e.g. Marx). But I'm aware that LSE's philosophy department is very particular about its focus on philosophy of science and other Anglo-American analytic school topics.

Is a continental focus in the personal statement likely to be something that would hold me back in the eyes of an admissions tutor?

Similarly, is it a problem if the three disciplines are not equally split? My statement speaks of all three, but the disciplines overlap too much for there to be a clear divide anywhere.
