hii! im considering picking sociology gcse and could anyone who picked the subject tell me if it’s worth choosing
a pros and cons list would be so helpful thanks!!!

pros= interesting to learn, able to use some of the research methods learnt in other subjects
cons= the way the exam questions are written as you have to describe or explain one factor but the question is worth 4 marks so youre having to write a lot, there is 4 12 markers on each paper, a lot of content to learn especially key words ( this is all from the aqa exam)
but if you are thinking of choosing sociology it you will be doing 4 topics:
paper 1- families and households and education
paper 2- crime and deviance and social stratification
and research methods come up on both
