Hi @E2007C,
So exciting to hear that Exeter is your first choice!
I didn't personally live at Rowe House, but I know a few people who had a really positive experience there - I think it was very relaxed and everyone was super friendly and welcoming! It's a great location too and is close to lots of other accommodations so it's really social.
I found that first year accommodation in general is really social and it's easy to make friends, because everyone is coming to uni in the same boat, wanting to meet new people and make friends! There are lots of welcome activities for different accommodations, and lots of flats will do big pres or meet ups in the first few weeks to get to know everyone which makes it very easy to meet lots of new people!
Also, because accommodation on campus is all fairly close-by, it's really easy to pop over and see your friends in other accommodations and meet their flatmates too etc - basically, the opportunities for meeting new people in first year are endless so I wouldn't worry too much about that!
I hope that helps and please let me know if you have any other questions.
