Do you want to live forever?

Do you want to live forever? If nothing is done, one day we will die. What would you do so that you could live forever?

The last thing i want is to live forever. Just the thought of the people I love dying before me breaks my heart a little bit, if I lived forever I'd probably have to go through that many times over. I take comfort in the fact I'm going to die one day, and then I might hope for heaven and for rest with god, and the world will just keep going without me. Sorry if that's quite deep for no reason :')
Yes I absolutely do. I would also like my loved ones to live forever.

If you live forever, it means that the people you love most also live forever. So neither the one you love most nor you will die.

Life will be boring at some point.

But it can be very painful when you or a loved one dies. Boredom is better than death, isn't it?

Sometimes, I think about what I should do for this world so that I can live forever. What do you think

No.

In addition, did you mean that everyone will live forever?

Haven't you gone to bed so late? Human beings cannot yet achieve immortality. If you want to live forever, you should do something for eternal life.

Bad dreams and ADHD, I needed some time to reset my thoughts before going to sleep again.

I don't want to live forever and especially I don't want some certain people to live forever

Are you referring to leaving a legacy?
Write a book.

Immortality is the worst fate I can imagine. You'd have infinite time, but everything else—humanity, inventions, events, etcetera—has limits to it.

Nah, I'd rather live in accordance with nature and allow death to come once it's time.

But death is painful. Whether it’s yourself or your loved ones.

No, I mean I'm thinking about what I can do to live forever. True immortality.

No, current technology cannot allow humans to live forever. What I mean is: "We should strive for eternal life."

This doesn't make sense, as you (in other comments) acknowledge that humans cannot live forever. Are you referring to an afterlife?

I'm sort of better. Thanks.
My life is good actually. I have a good job, good family and good friends. I'm relatively healthy. However, the whole situation in the world, and especially in our area (I'm from Israel) is not showing any signs of improvement or potential improvement but only decline, a rapid decline. I would not like to live in such an environment any longer then what I'm supposed too.
I see no real point in whatever I do. I mean I can travel the world and enjoy the views. It is fun, but there is no real point in that. I can volunteer to help others in organizations that bring medicine to poor countries (I was even offered to do that before covid, an organization was looking for a volunteer optometrist to travel to africa to make glasses for villagers there). It is a great mission and it would help people see better, but there is no real value for that in the long run. I would not make any impact to stop the decline in the world.

Don't get me wrong, I don't want to die now. I'm just saying that whenever it comes it comes but I don't care when.
