SLE DWP NiNo Verification

Hi guys,

Just wondering why it takes a week or two for DWP to verify National Insurance numbers to SFE, when the correct NiNo number has been given along with all personal details.

Any idea?

Hi there. This is the standard process for all students. We send your National Insurance Number to DWP the first Wednesday available after your application has been approved and this then takes until the following Wednesday tor return. Thanks, David
