Confusion about top up degree funding

I was enrolled on a BA hons degree a few years ago but didn't complete it. I left that course with a dipHe certificate (2 years of study) - its a long story. I now wish to do a 1 year top up degree so I can get my full degree.
Can i get funding? If not, are there any other paths to being able to complete my studies and get funding?

Hi there. What is the name of the new top up course? Do you have any other previous study? Thanks, David

Hi David. The new course would be an BA hons Accounting and finance top up (1 year full time) - unsure about the university yet as there are multiple options available and just trying to find out if I can get funding. My previous certification is a dipHe in accountancy (2 years of study) for which I received student loans. Essentially I'm just trying to finish the BA hons degree with with the top up year. thanks

Hi Abbs,

we would need to know the university so we can check this on system for you. When are you trying to start this course?

Thanks,
Claire

Based on what you have advised it looks like you would be eligible for finance for the top up, but nothing is definite till you apply and we can review and confirm for definite. Applications open for 25/26 academic year normally Feb/March. Keep checking our website for updates.

Thanks,
Claire

Thanks for getting back to me and I'm happy to know there is a chance I can get funding. I had seen mixed responses online so was getting a bit confusing. Thanks for your help and ill make an application in time
