At the moment i have put down
1. ACM London - Music Production accelerated masters
2. LIPA- Sound Technology
I am completely stuck on anywhere else.
For context- i have been mixing my band for almost a year, and i have done countless gigs, been a busker for ages and i have teched loads of school shows. I never took music in school as it was taught terribly and really disuaded me from doing it so im mostly self taught. I am looking to pursue music production and i really want additional technical skills for sound teching and stuff like that. Im not bothered with learning music performance i just want the bare technical ability of production/recording/tech...
I have recieved interview offers from both my choices but i have recently come across some reviews of ACM saying that it isnt as good as advertised. I am looking for somewhere in London mainly as i like the city and want the industry access.
I looked at UAL but i found it was a bit too artsy and not really the course i was looking for.
Could anyone point me in the right direction to any good courses for music production/sound tech in or out of london?
Additionaly if anyone has gone to LIPA or ACM could you tell me what your epxperience was like?
Thank you so much!
