I'm following the Edexcel board.
English Language is an interesting subject but just that my teacher makes it complicated sometimes.

Hi! I'm following the AQA exam board. I agree it's an interesting subject. My teacher tries to make it easier, but it gets confusing.

What topics within GCSE English Language do you find most challenging/interesting?

1. AQA board English Language GCSE, Paper 1 and Paper 2 exams scheduled for May and June 2025.
2. I enjoy the exam components (Paper 1 and Paper 2) of the course. However, since English is not my native language, I find the non-exam assessment on speaking particularly challenging, especially performing in front of a teacher. To overcome this, I have been practicing in front of my family members. 🥺
3. The topics I find most challenging include:
Using appropriate punctuation marks.
Concising sentences to effectively align with my thoughts.
Listening and responding appropriately and in depth to spoken language, including addressing questions and feedback during presentations.

my school uses aqa, i prefer paper 2 section b as you get to make up random facts, names and all sorts. i don't like paper 1 section b as i'm not that creative at times.

Honestly knowing what each question on each paper required really helped me going from a 3 in my year 10 mock to an 8 in my year 11 january mock. different questions require skills that you can learn by watching Mr Bruff.
