PPE at Oxford: A-Level Subject

I want to do PPE at oxford but cant decide what a-levels to pick. I will do maths and physics (as if i change my mind i will have other option) but am unsure wether to do econ or religous studies. Does having econ a-level give you a higher chance of getting in (even thought it is not on the requiremnts)? I know re and philosophy are the same, but would it be helpful.
No, A-level Economics confers no specific benefit for admissions. Take it if you're interested in it more than the other option, but if you prefer RS go with that

PPE at Oxford recommends A-level history, and politics would also be very helpful.

History is a very soft recommendation (they mention it because it’s a rigorous essay subject about the social worlds that is offered at basically every sixth form, but there are other subjects which can play this role); whether or not you have it is extremely unlikely to directly affect your application. Politics absolutely would not be particularly helpful (or unhelpful).

Regardless of whether they pick econ or RS, OP’s subjects are completely fine.

you deffo don’t need econ especially cause you already have maths, rs or econ should both be a good third subject
