NEBDN Nov Written Exam 2024

Hi fellow dental nurses, just had my written exam and was wondering how everyone did? Ngl some of the questions caught me by surprise as they were unrelated to the book material. What is your opinion on the exam? Can’t wait to get the results, it’s nerve wracking 😬

I just did the exam aswell, loads of the questions were not from the book at all. There was no questions on actual dental nursing , no root cancel questions , not many medical emergency questions, no filling questions, no blacks classification questions. Such a shame most of it was so unrelated. Fingers crossed for results dayDoes anyone remember any of the questions?

I know you are so right. They only had one question on disinfection which is a major thing for dental nurses. Nothing on endo either it was frustrating. Honestly I can’t remember most of them now they were written in a confusing manner. But there were 100 questions and I think we are allowed up to 25 questions wrong to pass but not 100% sure of this.

I’m so glad I’m not the only one who thought this!! I was thinking during it that hardly any of the questions related to any of the book / revision resources we were given. I thought it was incredibly difficult and unfair ☹️

Hi!
I sat this today and thought it was tricky.
There was no questions on general dental nursing such as xrt, rct and fillings nothing really on decon and X-rays. I’m glad I’m not the only one who thought it was out the ordinary.

I sat this exam too and thought the same, I am convinced I have failed because I feel like I’ve stumbled on so many questions ☹️ fingers crossed for everyone on results day xx
