Do what you want, what will make you happy now and in the long term. I’m surrounded by friends and family with learning difficulties and I’m about to get my final assessment for ASD. Having addition needs means we need to putt more effort in (I have slow processing) but that means what we do has to passionate us (if that is a word) and you have to be willing to work for it. Then again know your limits, I tried four subjects and I didn’t work in my circumstances with was frustrating but at least now I have 3 subjects that I love. Your parents can only guide you, you have to be the one to have the final say and be willing to work for it. I know this sounds kind of glum and maybe depressing but there is nothing more gratifying than overcoming a challenge, particularly personal ones that seem to define us. My friend got a one in his GCSE and he was over the moon as he had worked so hard for it that he didn’t care what others thought, it was the first time he’d gotten a grade in maths. Stay strong, good luck.
