Nose bleed while completing an online test for a grad job, can I do anything?

I was nearly finished an Arctic Shores test for a graduate scheme I've applied to. I was about half way through the last section when my nose started bleeding. I tried to keep going but I was literally dripping blood onto my laptop, and I couldn't find a way to pause the test so I just had to leave the assessment to go and sort myself out.

I'd resit it if I could but the link I was sent to access the test is just saying telling me my assessment submitted. Does anyone know if there's anything I can do here? Is it possible to ask the employer to take note of what happened on my application? Is there any chance they'll let me redo it, or even just to do that section that I was affected for again?

You could always email recruitment and let them know that you completed the assessment under extenuating circumstances (something that was out of your control), and see if they could either let you retake or consider that when they look at your results.

If you email and ask they may reset it and let you retake, or move on.

Ultimately with these online tests they are really just a filter to whittle down candidates to a manageable number so don’t be surprised if they say no.

Problem is that you have no evidence for what happened. It's not like you had an issue that required medical intervention and there's a record of it; they've only got your word for it.

I worked in recruitment, albeit for the RAF, but if a candidate fell just short on a test we would apply for a pass if they were an exceptional applicant. If you are very good on paper with your grades and experience they might do something. All you can do is ask.
