volunteering and work experience

ive been thinking about volunteering and doing work experience over the summer in the library. in year 12 theres a week of compulsory work experience that we have to do so i may go there. furthermore, ive also been thinking about volunteering for the summer reading challenge over the summer break. i may also go in the easter break to volunteer but it will depend on several factors since i only have one week for the easter break compared to two due to how my school works. i have two weeks off in the october half term so its switched around. ive already done some work experience on wednesday and friday this week which is good because i get to add this to my cv. is volunteering and doing work experience worth it in the long run? bare in mind the work experience ive done so far is minimal but im guessing that any work experience is good.

All experience is worth while if it helps build skills up!
