Choosing btec options for adult nursing

I’m a year 11 student writing my exams next year. I was always wanting to become an anaesthetic nurse until i found out im not actually able to pursue that because i went for an open event and to do anaesthetic i need to do alevel science like biology and unfortunately i cannot do biology because they accepting grade was a 6 in maths, but i can only pursue a 5 in maths because in in foundation and the highest grade is a 5 . However for science and English I’m quite strong in that and I’m in higher tier so i can pursue a grade 6 and above.
Then i decided to choose a cardiac nurse practitioner as my second choice and i did my research, based on my research i have to become a registered nurse first. That means I can do btec. But now I’m faced with deciding if i can do level 3 health and social care (equivalent to 1.5 a levels) and a level 3 applied science ( equivalent to 2 a levels). But according to the college i went to for open event a teacher said that if i decide to choose level 3 applied science i cant do any other course, which is actually worrying.
I applied for an open event in a different sixthform college
Now im thinking if i should reconsider my options cause im so confused.

Is the applied science BTEC a national extended diploma or a national diploma? If the former, it makes sense that you can't do another subjects as it would be equivalent to three A levels. If it is the diploma, then you would need another qualification to enter uni. Just for your information:

BTECs
National Certificate (graded P, M, D, D*) = 0.5 x A level

National Extended Certificate (graded P, M, D, D*) = 1.0 x A level
National Foundation Diploma (graded P, M, D, D*) = 1.5 x A levels
National Diploma (graded from PP to D*D*) = 2.0 x A levels
National Extended Diploma (graded from PPP to D*D*D*) = 3.0 x A levels

Entry requirements vary by uni. Use the following search tool to find courses you would consider and then go to the uni's course page and check the entry requirements:

I think the reason on why you cannot choose another course/subject if you chose btec applied science is because its a national extended diploma. This means that it is equivalent to 3 alevels. If it was equivalent to 2 alevels then your college shouldve allowed you to take another course. Honestly i think its best to just do btec applied science as it open more doors in the healthcare field (if you decide you wanna change your career again) aswell it being useful for nursing.

Although i always knew i want to get into childrens nursing, i regret not exploring other sixth form/colleges that does btec applied science national extended diploma and just sticking with alevels that i dont enjoy or is even relevant on what i want to do later in my life (apart from alevel psychology - MY ABSOLUTE FAV).
