Realistic Uni Choices?

Heya everyone,
I'm currently applying for University courses, particularly at Bath, Warwick, Bristol and Surrey. I'm currently looking to study Data Science (Warwick)/Computer Science + Maths (Bristol)/ Maths, Stats and Data Science (Bath) or Maths with Data Science (Surrey).
I'm currently predicted A*,A*,A,A, at A-Level, with my subjects being Maths, Computer Science, Chemistry and Physics respectively; and have 11 GCSE's (9,8,8,7,7,7,7,7,6,6,6) + Level-2 EPQ (A*).
In respects to Super/Extra Curricular activities I've done Duke of Edinburgh (Bronze/Silver), Work Experience at JPMorgan, UKMT (Silver) and Maths Tutoring for Y11's in the past.
I'm due to apply by the end of the year, however am now re-considering whether my choices are realistic or not. I would've previously said my grades are adequate, and that these choices would've been realistic. However, I'm now worried as to whether these grades will cut it, particularly considering that I haven't studied Further Maths and the exceptional GCSE requirements these Uni's desire.

Are these choices realistic? Or should I reconsider my options?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Looking at the Warwick website that lack of FM is an issue Data Science BSc (UCAS 7G73) . The rest seem fine.

Hi @A4tkio8,
While your predicted grades do not quite meet the entry requirements for Warwick. It is worth still keeping it as an aspirational choice as you are very close and there is a decent chance you may still get an offer from them.

All the best with your offers

Hiya there,

Just wanted to jump in to say its great that you're considering us as one of your options!

What a fab-u-lous set of predicted grades, you must have put a lot of hard work in to get those, so huge kudos for that!

Our Maths, stats and data sci course does not require further maths. Its in bold on the website for the course. Your grades are at the level we are looking for, you seem to have some great experiences to talk about in your personal statement and so it sounds like you are indeed picking realistic choices for you and you have every chance of making a competitive application for these courses. Perhaps you are doubting yourself a little too much 🙂

Its also good to see Surrey on your list whose predicted grades are a little below the rest. Its important to be sensible with your choices and to make sure your insurance choice has requirements pitched 1-2 grades below what you're predicted just in case things don't go your way on results day. So if you'd be 100% happy at Surrey then this would perhaps be a good insurance choice for you.

I hope this helps, best of luck with your choices - and have confidence! You're clearly a very capable student, just do your best with your A levels and keep it up 🙂
