English Language help

Can anyone doing English Language A-Level help me with this? So we've just finished learning about regional accents and I'm trying to make some revision materials. How much about specific accents (Geordie, Mancunian, Scouse etc) do we need to know? I think the most important bits are probably the attitudes towards the accents and maybe what has influenced the accent (like immigration or invasions things like that). Am I right in thinking the grammar, lexis and pronunciation aren't as important as the things above? Is there anything important I've missed out?

I'm doing the same exam board. I'm only in year 12, but to my knowledge we don't need to know regional accents in detail. However, I would double-check with your tutors about this.

Also, I would add that grammar, semantics and lexis are possibly the most important topics covered in the first year of the course. If you need to study the accents in-depth, consider how semantic change caused these accents.
