Hey, I also applied 2 weeks ago and have not heard back yet - I think they are very busy at the moment with all the applications!

Hey, Did you receive an interview invite yet either from Oxford or Cambridge ? I applied on Nov 5th and still no response from either university.

Hey, This is me, but I got locked out of my previous account for some reason! I completed my interview for Oxf last week and I have my Cambridge one this week. In total the process took 25 days. Oxford did let me know they are incredibly busy and stacked with interviews which suggests why they haven't got back to you yet. Regarding Cambridge, don't worry as there are plenty (30 places +) for interviews up until June - they will get back to you soon hopefully!

I found it a little difficult - my Cambridge interview was much more involved and different. I ended up firming Cambridge, as Oxford haven't gotten back yet, but will keep you updated!

I did get my Cambridge interview for the 20th December. Nothing from Oxford.

I had my interview 2 weeks ago for PGCE English, super anxious to hear back.

Oxford appears to be a black hole at the moment....

I am delighted to have received an offer from Oxford for PGCE Biology - I completed my interview exactly 2 weeks ago! Best of luck to everyone else.

Congrats!! Despite the Oxford offer, I have actually decided to go Cambridge instead, as they offer better progression from PGCE to masters compared to Oxford!

Oxford doesn't really let you progress to an MSc masters programme, unless you are already working in teaching - plus there is a high requirement of a high 2:1/1st class if you even want to enter the programme, despite PGCE requirements being a 2:2. I would also say the topics aren't as engaging or interesting compared to the ones Cambridge offer - however this is a personal opinion. Finally, Oxford's masters course is part time 2 years, whilst Cambridge offer a 1 year part time masters - time and money wise, I found it smarter to go with Cambridge. Cambridge have a dedicated masters course for students progressing from PGCE to MEd - much more specialised!
