ual foundation diploma blog question

im doing the art and design foundation diploma under ual and tutors are all giving diffrent answers about requirements for the blog.
one is saying that we MUST use wordpress or it wont get marked by awarding body (i find wordpress compleately useless personally so this would be very annoying if true) and others are saying just use whatever works for you aslong as its in the right format.
ive been using cargo to make my blog but now im not sure if i need too switch to wordpress. if anyone doing the same course has a more solid answer than my tutors that would be great!
