Hi everyone, I am from the uk and would like to go to Singapore to do my degree - it would be dentistry. Since I dont know anyone who has gone, can people share their experience or how they got in? for reference I am doing alevels right now.

hi, from Singapore here and taking A Levels now (but the Singapore version, its different from the UK version!)

1.

UK and SG A Levels are completely different; we have no such thing as A* and highest possible grade is an A. Not sure how they look at UK A Levels, as I don't know of anyone who has taken UK A Levels and gotten in (mainly SG A Levels, with a minority having taken IB)

2.

Dentistry is extremely competitive, with even lesser spots compared to Medicine (which is already very competitive) for locals, I would imagine it to be even more competitive for Internationals

3.

not looking at dentistry for me, so I strongly recommend you to look at r/SGExams on reddit -- much more people there who can help you and have knowledge on this. you might see plenty of A Level posts right now by the way because its ongoing hahahaha

all the best!
