urdu gcse

hey guys,
i dont know if i should give a home language gcse for urdu because im rlly worried about the writing papers but if i give urdu then i wont have to give spanish and im rlly rlly bad at spanish. pls help xx

It's really a personal choice but I'd say if you're more comfortable with Urdu then you might get better grades so it could be a good choice. The main downside is that spanish is widely spoken so it seems more useful but if you're optimising for grades then urdu is still the choice. Also think about who can help you. Do you have people speaking urdu and spanish around you? It might be good to go where you'll get support. Ultimately you have your teachers and you can always check sites like Tilf or youtube for both but I think having additional support is key when you get stuck
