Exeter Law

I am applying for English law and French law at Exeter, I have seen some of my friends get just law offers from there already.. has anyone doing my exact course got an offer for September 2025?? Kinda nervous tbh and I don't know on average how long it takes them. I applied before my friend and they applied after and got an offer..

Hello academicsigma,

We typically operate a ‘gathered field’ procedure whereby applications received between September and January will be considered but a decision may not be conveyed until the middle of May.

Whilst the majority of our decisions will be gathered field, we may decide to release a small number of offers early for exceptionally well-qualified candidates who fall within the highest tiers, or those with other special circumstances. Some programmes may also fall into the category of us releasing them sooner.

Please try to not worry if you haven't heard from us already. Although similar these are different programmes; and due to the fact that the programme you are interested in includes time at a partner university in France places are a lot more fixed, hence gathered field being applied. We will get back to you as soon as we are able to, and all application are considered equally on their own merits. I appreciate being told not to worry is a lot easier said than done, but hopefully this reassures you that there is a reason we haven't got back to you yet. Thank you for your patience with this, and fingers crossed for you.
