my sims got deleted and im gonna cry
my sims 4 game corrupted, and my six generation family got deleted. i really want to cry, but i feel like itll look stupid. in my time of grief, does anyone have any story ideas for a new family. i like playing family oriented , and have quite a few packs.

I've had my Sims get deleted SO many times over the past 20+ years as the blumming thing is always prone to crashing. That's EA for you. It's frustrating as hell when it happens. My commiserations.

What platform are you on? You may be able to recover a cloud backup of your game save.

its ps4 , i tried to find any past files but couldnt find anything. im just glad my packs didnt get taken honestly

If you have PS Plus they would have uploaded to cloud storage automatically.

Sims 4 was designed to run on potatoes, it is way better on PC/Mac/Laptop/Macbook.

While The Sims is generally better to play on PC anyway, I'm not sure what you count as a potato. Generally the PS4 and Xbox One versions of The Sims 4 run decently, but have moments where they slow down to one or two frames per second and it becomes unplayable. Weirdly it also happens on the PS5 and presumably Series X.
