Should Iswiych subjects ?

I want to change form DT fashion and textiles to art craft and design a level but I’m not sure if that’s a smart idea. Apart form the work load I need to catch up on is art craft and design a good a level to switch to if I want to peruse a career in fashion. I know that the DT course is quite literally made for fashion but I’m not enjoying it as much as I did with art. I have less freedom and there are barely any resources for the exams so I’m worried that if I don’t understand something I won’t be able to help myself. I got an 8 in textiles GCSE and a 7 in fine art but I only really got an 8 because I almost got full marks on my course work but in a level no matter how much I do I simply can’t satisfy my very demanding teachers. Is just easier to get an A* to A in art or design and technology? If anyone has advice please tell me I need it asap !!
it is 100% easier to get a higher mark in dt than in art. in my school, 50% of the people who took DT got a 9, compared to 35% who got a 9 in Art. bear in mind that only people who are very good at art took GCSE Art and loads of people who weren't artistic at all took DT. (and my school normally has above average marks for art students)

also, from experience, i hated art. when someone says they're thinking about taking art at GCSE, i immediately tell them that they'll regret it. take DT. save your mental health.
