Anyone that transferred uni after foundation year- please help me

Hi,
Just wanted to know how the process is like. I’ve spoken to my academic tutors and lectures and have a general jist of the process, like a submitting ucas and reference and stuff, but I still have concerns surrounding what grades will be used as predicted as it’s not like a levels right. My a level grades are too low for my desired uni kcl but I was reassured and told they don’t look at a levels only foundation year , planning on applying for kcl neuroscience. Please help me and give me advice on the process and things I should know.

Who reassured you? KCL themselves?

My current university. They did that previous student transferred to kcl, and that they use the credit accumulation transfer scheme (cats) to transfer and predicted grades will be on assements quizzes and class activities

Have you asked KCL themselves if they are willing to take you?

I emailed kcl twice and they are just copying and pasting information about foundation transfers from their websites. So I’m not getting a clear response but I’m assuming that it is possible.
It's always better to get firsthand info - thier policy could have changed since last year, or they only accept transfers to/from specific courses.

This should be an easy question for them to answer, I would persist either via email or with a follow up call.

Regarding predictions, these often aren't needed. They'll just ask for an interim transcript.

Ok I’ll try to call them tomorrow. Thanks

Hi, i called and they said they dod accept transfers but it is assessed case by case. I'm pretty sure the lady was just reading a website, but I've taken from this that I should just give it a go. So I am starting a new UCAS application today. Do you think I should use the same account as I previously used for my prior UCAS application or a different one? I now need to ask my uni for their buzzword to open the application. Thank you
