I want to apply to Sheffield, Nottingham, Bath, Leicester and Aston with predicted ABB, GCSEs 6 Maths, 9 English language and 87 Combined science. I also have a significant amount of work experience. Is this too risky without opportunity for contextual offers?
What are the entry requirements for each Uni - all AAB, or some lower?

Nottingham, bath, Sheffield are AAB whereas Leicester and Aston are ABB.

Be aware that having 3 choices above your predicted grades is very risky - its not just about getting an interview and an offer, you would also have to actually get those grades in August. I'd suggest that you drop Nottingham as its the most competitive of the 3, and substitute a lower grade Uni asking for grades below your predicted grades such as UCLAN or DMU or a degree with a Foundation year such as Swansea.

Remember, it doesnt matter where you do your MPharm - the courses are all accredited equally by the GPhC, and the NHS is not going to care where you trained, and neither will your future customers/patients.
I’ve done nottingham with ABB as well!

It was sent off today so not yet, If i get a response I’ll let you know though as it might help with some guidance for you. I’ve applied for Birmingham, Cardiff, Bath and Reading, all AAB (Apart from Reading) however I do EPQ so ABB with A in epq, nottingham is the only one that doesn’t do reduced for epq but hopefully I’ll still get an interview!

Hiya! I’ve had interviews for both Cardiff and Reading, and I’ve got Birmingham next month! Not received offers from the interviews yet but it sounded like they went well so hopefully will receive offers soon.

well done on the interviews!! I had a reading interview like a month ago but haven’t heard anything back from them . When do you think they’ll start giving out decisions?

Hey, during my interview they told me not to expect any offers any time soon, they told me to wait until late December, January or even later as they want to assess others and then make offers. I had my interview last week if you were wondering.

Mine said they wouldn’t be until possibly like April, but depends on how many applicants, they went into clearing last year though so I’m hoping earlier.

Nottingham is a slight risk but the rest you should be good. Just make sure personal statement is good and ur guaranteed an interview
