University application

Hey currently in yr12
I got the following GCSEs:
9 - Mathematics, Geography
8 - Physics, biology, chemistry, RS, Design and technology
7 - English literature, French
6 - English language
D2 Digital tech award

Currently I study Maths, Further maths and physics and I work as a junior software developer at a company.

I was wondering if I could still get into Cambridge university or any of the top 5, especially with the 6 in English language or if I should just retake the subject?

Have you looked at the entry requirements for your subject on uni websites?

Yes many state that you need to pass all of your GCSEs or need majority A*/A. However, because it is English language, I’m not sure if a 6 will be good enough

The 6 is fine, focus on your A levels, they are what counts.
