Does Queen Marys look over GCSEs or not focus as much on it?

I’ve always wanted to study here but have received a poor grades in my GCSES i know that i have a 7 in mathematics 7-6 in double science 7 in English literature but have gotten a 5 for English language im currently resisting this grade but i wanted to know if this has ruined my chances of going to study medicine and Queen Marys because of the competitive nature . I’m actually not too sure on this - I’m aware QMUL is regarded as a holistic uni so they will look at your GCSEs. But they don’t score GCSEs so as long as you get good predicted grades and UCAT then you will be fine.

Thank you this has lifted my spirits up a lot.I have missed a significant amount of school years during secondary and have worked hard enough to be able to get through to my A levels as the first in my immediate family
