im applying for economics at lse, ucl, warwick, st andrews and manchester with a*a*a*a predicted - are these too ambitious or do i need another safety

normally people would go for 2 ambitious 3 sometimes with more than one insurance/backup however ur grades are very competitive and strong. as long as ur ps is good ur application looks strong overall so less necessary for u to worry about being less ambitious imo
