A level English Lit help!

Hello!!!

I'm currently in year 12 and I'm doing A level English literature, Edexcel, and I was wondering if I could have some tips please on how to write a good essay? I've definitely got a bad habit of waffling too long about one quote, and I'm stressing that this will really hold me back at A level so if anybody could give me some tips on how to manage time effectively when writing an essay, that would be really helpful! Also, should I focus on analysing one or two quotes in detail or just do simple analysis of many quotes? I find if I spend too long on analysis then I run out of time to talk about a range of points, but then if I do basic analysis I'm worried I'll miss out on A02 marks so I just don't know what to do!!

Thanks for reading

Start with this format above all else :

Intro : (2 simple points/summary)

Point 1 : xxx
Evidence : xxx
Explanation : xxx
Link : xxx

Point 2 : xxx
Evidence : xxx
Explanation : xxx
Link : xxx

Link / Summary

Sorry if I can't help with the rest, I'm still working stuff out myself. Good luck!
