Hi, could anyone please share their thoughts on this. My friend somehow got convinced that if he gave his William hill bet account details to someone. They would load his account with money and that nothing would happen. He withdrew the money to his revolut, and now he's regretting his decision and is being paranoid that when they block his bet account, they would also block his revolut. Can this happen? Anyone please shed your thoughts on this.

Who is the 'they' that could block a betting account and a Revolut account? They are run by 2 different organisations.
What is he doing with the money he withdrew? He's now a mule and involved in money laundering. Isn't someone going to ask for it back?

Thanks for your response and yes i know they are run by two different organisations but what if William Hill decides to contact Revolut about the funds withdrawn to his account? Its been 13 days now and nothing has happened to his bet account like no investigation or it being blocked. He's spent most of the money so even if someone asks for the money back most has been spent. Looking forward to your thoughts about this.

He spent the money. So what does the other person get out of this transaction?

And your friend thought this sounded legit?
Going back to the original question, yes, they could absolutely lose their Revolut account over this and get a CIFAS marker. This is exactly the kind of thing CIFAS markers are there to record.
