Woodhouse application + subject combo

I'm currently in the application process for Woodhouse college and I'm looking for some advice on it.
I want to take English lit philosophy maths and further maths which I know is probably not a popular combination but I'm still worried about the English and maths A levels being over subscribed which could lead to me being waitlisted.
For context my predicted grades for maths is a 9, and my English grade is an 8 (it should be a 9 but my school is ridiculous and lowers English predicated grades because they say you're still learning English up until the actual GCSE)
Also for the written portion of the application I'm struggling on what to write. I'm not sure if they want a really flat piece on why I'm the best and the smartest with about 50 million adjectives in it or something more interesting and original.
Can anyone help me out?
Hi - current woodhouse yr13 here ! Don’t worry about subjects being oversubscribed, there are plenty of classes (half the year do maths, so there’s plenty of room). Also, as long as you’re getting that 7.5 average (i do 4 a levels right now too) , don’t stress too much about predicted. Plus, a lot of people j know who do maths got a 7 in it. In terms of the writing part, again don’t overthink it, but in short you do not want to talk about how smart you are - everyone who applies to woodhouse is smart , and your predicted grades speak for themselves. They want to know about your character and your interests ; what makes you you ? If you have more questions don’t hesitate to ask !
