What can you use intead of said in english because shows, said gets really borring in the gcse paper so what can i do?

Hi! There's a whole range of words you can use, e.g. shows, suggests, implies, demonstrates, displays, evokes, highlights, illustrates, foreshadows, indicates, etc. Hope that helps!!

Some words you could use instead of this shows :

Portrays , depicts, implies , demonstrates , reveals, illustrates, conveys, signals , displays , highlights, presents , creates an atmosphere of .. , emphasises the importance of ….

There are quite a few more just look up synonyms for words tbh but hope this helps
