Can I change application next year if i apply for a deferred application this year?

I am planning to apply for university for 2026 this year as I am in year 13 but want to take a gap year. I just wanted to know if I applied for 2026 entry this year could I change my application or create a new one next year?

Yes. If you are holding a place in the autumn for 2026 entry and change you mind, you could cancel that application and reapply to 5 new choices with your achieved grades. Or, if you just want to switch to another course at the same Uni (and you meet the grade requirements), you could just email that Uni and ask for that switch.
