Can you do it?

I just want to start of by listing my september mock results: Language:4 Literature:3 Maths:5 combined science: 76 RE: 2 computer science: 3 Economics: 6 Geography:7 Spanish: 3 and all my predictions were roughly just +1

This is not an acidemic comback of any means however if you see this close to your exams it might serve as motivation that you can do it. I firmly believe if you fail every subject at the beginning of year 11 you can get straight 9’s. This is not a guide on how to do that but with determination it is possible.

I didn’t study for my first mocks or really for Christmas mocks, i only really started revising a bit before easter. I didn’t revise crasily.

This is not a guide, i am just giving you a few tips for gcse’s.

If you hate a subject it is ok to forget about it. After Christmas i failed RE and Spanish, i hated Spanish more so i didn’t revise it for 1 second and comitted to passing RE. I got a 3 in Spanish and a 6 in RE

Maths is all about past papers, do them timed and what you get wrong just go on maths genie.

English lit and RE are all about quotes. (Also know key terms for RE) these can all be studied the weekend before if necessary. And you dont need rare quotes, the examiner will read any quote you use 10’s of times.

English: Mreverythingenglish- Goat and know context or big words to describe characters

Science- i did questions but a friend did all of seneca videos, questions and all and got 98

Geography- know case studies and key numbers dont matter alot, E.g you can remember few fatalities rather that 12.

Economics- this is a new subject however do the most reicent past paper and go over what you got wrong in the book and know the difference between analyse and eveluate.

Most other subjects were just waffle to be honest, know your stuff and stick to the question!

Take opportunities aswell, my school had people from our school doing a levels tutor us for a hour a week for maths 1 to 1 aswell as a 4 day program over easter where we went to another school and they taught us maths and science.

And final advice and most important , if you have any special needs and i mean any, anxiety, adhd, autism no matter how mild apply for extra time and a chromebook. If you have bad writing do the same, your parents have to be pushy and know the rules but there is time, i applied a week before the deadline (ages away still) and my mum was pushy but i got it.

Also during the exams, stick to a routine don’t panninc just sit down and do the paper. Lastly If you have time in the last few minutes of your last exam just look up, put your pen down and just soak it in, the people, the exams, the work you have done in the last month, All the effort, time and work will be over in a few minutes. Not gonna lie that was the best feeling I’ve ve ever felt, no joke was tingling for like 10 minutes.

Lastly My GCSE grades: Literature:6 language:7 science: 78 maths: 8 geography: 8 economics: 7 computer studies: 5 spanish: 3 RE: 6
I currently do A-level maths further maths and physics

Comment or message me if you want help with anything, i might not be able to help but i can try.

You can do it!!!!
